The Multi-Tasking USB-C Charger
The Plugable 40W Dual USB C Charger (PS-40C2W) is a game-changer for charging on the go (or anywhere, really). Featuring a total output of 40W through its dual USB-C ports, this Type-C USB Power Adapter introduces a smart power allocation system that prioritizes charging to the first device connected, ensuring rapid charging, and then intelligently distributes the remaining power to the second device. It’s like a super advanced Pixel 8 Pro Type C charger.
The PS-40C2W has a couple of unique features. First, unlike a traditional PD Charger that sticks out from the wall like a flagpole, this charger has a low-profile design, perfect for throwing in your bag or when you need to plug in behind a desk. Second, and this shouldn’t be overlooked, downward-facing ports to minimize wear and tear of your cords. The wall charger for USB C also features foldable prongs for travel and LED indicators to communicate charging status at a glance — glowing green for slow charging and blue for fast charging.
The Plugable 40W Dual USB C charger adapter is compatible with a wide range of devices, from the latest smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, and iPhone 15, to tablets, and other USB-C peripherals like AirPods and smartwatches. With a USB-C to Lightning cable, you can even charge older iPhones like iPhone 14, 14 Plus, and iPhone 13. The PS-40C2W can also be used to charge USB-C laptops, though it might take a little longer depending on your make and model.
With its low profile, durable construction, and integrated protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuits, this USB C wall plug really is a versatile charging solution.
